I've been to four gigs since my last update. Three of those were free, which helped push my $$/gig ratio all the way down to $3.26/show after 23 shows. Not too shabby. The four gigs?

Things have slowed down a bit in the summer due to a lack of free/cheap tickets, but I did see Stars at the Beachland in June with xhollydayx, pianodan and drdingbat. They played all of their new album, which is excellent, and then they played a set of songs chosen by fans on their website, which were also excellent. It was a good time. So far this year I've seen 8 concerts, which is only 2 short of all of 2009. Things are definitely looking up. Even better, I spent a mere $20 to see those 8 concerts, and 7 of those 8 were headliners I had never seen before. In fact, of those 7, 4 were bands I hadn't even heard of prior to 2010.
